♥ Bh Cosmetics 120 Color Eyeshadow Palette 2nd Edition-all color swatches and review

so, weeks ago i decided to try out some stuff from Bh cosmetics
since there are so many good comments about their products and i think its always
handy to have a big range of colors with me in one palette. After doing some research on the
differences of the palettes, i know, theres 5 ! woooh, makes it so hard to choose
which one i wanted they all looked really nice,
but i went for the 2nd edition in the end, it was the one thats got
both brights and also more neutral tones in it,mattes and shimmers.
You can check out xsparkage's
comparison video on the three palettes here, it helped so much. yeah
Here is the description of the main differences of the palettes on their website

What are the differences between the 5 palettes in the 120 Color Palette Collection?
A: Here are the differences:

*120 Color Palette 1st Edition: This palette has very bright, vibrant colors and carries very little neutral tones.

*120 Color Palette 2nd Edition: This also contains bright and vibrant colors, but approximately twice as many neutral tones as the 1st Edition.

*120 Color Palette 3rd Edition: This edition carries some bright colors, but is primarily neutral based and has a wide range of deep, cool tones perfect for an everyday look or night look.

*120 Color Palette 4th Edition: The 4th Edition contains all shimmer shades, with a mix of bright, neutral and dark shades.

*120 Color Palette 5th Edition: We call this palette our Warm & Natural Palette. It contains many earth-tone colors, as well as soft pinks and purples.

this post will be photo heavy, as i swatched all of the colors,
with flash and no flash

the colors are beautiful, they come in mattes and shimmers,
i wrote down which ones were chunky and didn't have good pigmentation as
i was swatching them last night, took me a while to go through
them ,but a good majority of them had good pigmentation
and some of the colors are ah-mazing !!! I mean
what more you can ask for when its only 20 dollars ?

the pictures of the swatches starts from top palette first,
starting from the right row top to bottom and moving on to each row to the left.
heres an idea of what im doing

top palette

row 2

row 3
smoothest matte black i have ever come across !!

 row 4
their purple was not really pigmented

row 5
the fifth blue is amazing, smooth blue with gold sheen

row 6
the first green is too pretty, tinker bell green and the forth green

the forth one is so bright and smooth

the third one wasn't really pigmented

bottom palette

row 1

row 2

row 3
third one was chalky, last color wasnt really pigmented

row 4
the third color was chalky, but it would be an amazing color if you use it wet
the first color is very sheer, more like an on the top color where
you add it on top of another purple color to give it more sheen and shimma shimma

row 5
first one and the last one didnt show up too well, the fifth one is
so pigmented

row 6
that second color there is the chalkiest green i had ever came across
the first one is amazingly smooth and bright, love it

row 7
the fifth blue, ugh, didnt show up no matter how hard i tried
love the others tho

row 8
first one is so pretty, very bright and smooth, second one wasn't pigmented
forth one was chalky

row 9
this is one of the best rows, they were all very pigmented
i didn't have to rub my finger into it hard, just a light swipe, awesome

row 10
this last row didn't dissapoint me at all too,it has a very nice light gold too

so wow, very photo heavy yea,
i love this palette overall, there were only a few not so pigmented eyeshadows,
but that is totally expected, and i can deal with chalkiness haha,
some of them are soooo incredibly smooth i couldn't believe it,
i would definitely recommend to anyone who loves makeup
specially starters who would love to experiment with colors
you can get this oh the Bh cosmetics website, they always have special offers
and theres the mid-year sale right now! so check them out !
I also picked up a gel liner and a liquid eye liner along with this purchase
which i will talk about in my future posts, so stay tuned :)

Hope you enjoyed reading this post !
Look forward to my next one :D

♥ · Essence haul : Eye shadows, nail polishes, souffle blush, eyebrow gel

Hello Hello !
Today's post will be a little haul of stuff i got from essence cosmetics,
in Target,i never knew that it was available here(in Townsville,Qld) till a
couple weeks ago when i went shopping and found it. haha
and knowing that essence makes awesome stuff and has a very good prices
so i picked up a few things. \(OvO)/ Hurray !

essence clear eye brow/lash gel
i always used a colored brow gel for my brows cause they have annoying long hairs
or when i want other colors i would load up the brush
with whatever color i was using and spray it with fix plus so i get a nice and clean
crisp brows :) I thought about using clear eye brow gels but i never found any good ones
with other brands, they are neither crappy or most of them just don't make it.
So im happy that essence does, and i love it !Keeps my hairs in place all day
I think it was around 3 Dollars, good deal !

essence Eye Shadow-#02 Dance All Night (Sparkling effect)

this was a color that i fell in love with !  the first week i got it i used it
so much and everyday,oh gods. haha
its a very nice super sparkly light gold color,
it looks awesome in the pan, you can see its like a
light gold color with light silver sparkles in it, it reminds me of the idea that
xsparkage had for the eye shadow she created for the sigma palette !

when i swatched it , it came out as a very light golden color and
the sparkle/ glitter actually doesnt show up, its shimmery !;D
the eyeshadow it self is very smooth very easy to blend,i didn't feel chalky at all
like i thought it would because lots of eyeshadows with glitter or sparkles in it does that, boo
but this one is great ! its very pigmented.
i can't really remember the price but i think it was 2.50 or something each
and its a fairly big eyeshadow too ! the size is exactly the same with makeup forever ones

essence color and go nail polish-#38 Choose me !

this one is the first color i spotted when i looked at the nail rack, it caught my eye
its such a beautiful color, its an aqua blue green color with lots of green and gold glitter
in it, i read some reviews on makeup alley and it said that its a really good dupe for
Zoya's Charla, i don't own that polish so i cannot compare, but this color just wows me
its my favorite, two coats there it is ! so opaque. the nail
polishes were 2 dollars something each, good deal !

essence color and go nail polish-#78 Blue addicted

this one was so not expected! I love nail polishes with different sized specs of
glitter in it,this one is a dark blue color, kind of like jelly, its clearish
with big specs of green and dark blue glitter in it, along with some more
small blue/ silver glitter in it, because the base color was kind of clear like
i layered 4 coats on it, and try to pick up as much glitter as possible
without it being too thick when applied. thats one thing i dont like about
glitter polishes with a clear jelly whatever base color.but this one would should up great too
if you just apply it on rop of another blue.

essence color and go nail polish-#04 Space queen

Space queen is a clear pinky polish with lots of different colored glitters in it,
its great for wearing in on another color, the small glitters are gold, red ,orange,
green and blue. sounds like every color is in there huh.

Essence eye souffle eyeshadow(Ballerina Backstage Collection)
-#02 pas des copper

a very sheer shimmery copper cream eyeshadow, i love that color,
its so pigmented, and its lasting power is amazing, the texture
of it is very soft, very easy to blend,
i can wear this for 12 to 15 hours
and its still there with only very little bit of creasing.its a very nice copper color
,i would normally put this all over the lid if i want something simple,
or add other stuff depends what i feel like.

copper cream shadow all over the lid, didnt go over it with any shadow, dark silver eyeliner
and mascara
there were three of them in this collection,i think it was a black and another
soft pink, but i didnt get them cause people opened them and put their fingers in it
and made it all yucky. -___- thats what happens at Target, specially if its at
a bad area. sigh

Essence blush souffle(Ballerina Back stage collection)
-#01 prima ballerina

this blush, the color is exactly like the name, a ballerina pink,a very nice
subtle baby pink, it does has the texture of souffle, and for that
i have to use a fair amount of it for the color to show up on my NC35 skin,
or add another light pink blush on top
i would scoop it out with my little concealer brush, about the size of a pea,but a huge pea
and apply it to my apples,it gives a very nice pinky glow, very healthy looking.
the staying power is okay, it lasts about 7 hours or so and then somehow it
will be gone and i might have to re do it.

so that was my little haul, overall i looooove love the stuff Essence has, and will defiantly
go back and try some more things, and they have the best prices ever,as most makeup in Au
are expensive(big sigh).
anywhoo,hope you enjoyed :)

♥ Boots Cosmetics No.7 Smoky Rose Quad

So today i wanted to do a little review on this cute
quad that i won in a giveaway
by Iamhakme who is an awesome beauty blogger in Hong Kong,
check out her blog here :)

these colors are gorgeous, all very shimmery
a white with golden sheen almost like its a light yellow gold color,
very pretty as a inner corner highlight, a very nice muted pink color, one of those
perfect pinks for me as an everyday all over lid color, a purple lilac color with golden sheen
a color like nothing i own, and a dark plum purple with a tiny bit of red glitter in it.

(no flash)
they have a very smooth almost creamy like texture, very easy to blend
not chalky at all .

(with flash)

they are all very pigmented,so i'm very impressed with that,
i didn't have to rub the shadows hard to swatch them
they look very pretty in the pan, like marbles

and this is how i wore it when i was trying it out.
pink color all over the lid, lilac color in the crease area, blend it right out
and used the darkest color in the v and the bottom lash line,
white color for the inner corners, add
liner to top lash line and waterline and mascara and done !

I used the Nyx HD eye priner under it,
love the colors, they didn't smudge or crease through out the day,

I'm not sure about where you can get Boots cosmetics
here in Australia, but i've seen it online, so check their stuff out
Hope you enjoyed reading this post ! :D
Thank You again HakMe for this awesome quad!
until next time
